For The Love of God confronts the worst that Christians have done and traces the origins of Western values like human rights, charity, humility, and non-violence back to the influence of Jesus. This is not the history we think we know. Join us as we weigh up the good, the bad, the ugly – and the unexpected – about the impact of Christianity on the world we live in today.

In a post-truth world, we live in a society that does not honour the whole truth. Yet, the word of God commands the world to stop and listen to him! When it comes to truth, our world is a babble of confusion and we need to hear what God is saying.
Our speaker, Rick Lewers, will open the Gospel of Luke 16:19-31 on Friday night. On Saturday he will concentrate on the early chapters of Isaiah within the theme of “Listen heavens, and pay attention, earth”.
Rick is married to Janene and they have three adult children and one grandchild. Following ordination he worked at St Luke’s Church, Liverpool before moving to St Matthew’s Church, Wanniassa (1992-2002) where he worked under Ray and Shirley Smith and later became the rector. Rick then took up the role of evangelist with Evangelism Ministries in Sydney. From 2005 he was the rector of Engadine Heathcote Anglican Church until being consecrated as the Bishop of Armidale in May 2012.
2017 has been a huge year in our church's life.

5 years ago, the community of Good Shepherd saw the need to start a new church service, one to serve a new community: the 18-35yr demographic. Over the course of those 5 years, God has grown the vision and has brought together more than 150 people across all ages and across all walks of life.
We want to stop and take the time to celebrate the vision that was and the work God has enabled, and to set a future vision of what our church needs to become in order to love all the community around us.
We’d love you to join us. All welcome.
For much of his life John Hilton struggled with addiction, substance abuse and own identity. In a journey to find truth and greater enlightenment, John moved to India, living there for 15 years as a Hare Krishna.
Then one day, John heard about the love of Jesus.
Come hear what happens next.
join us for a day filled with worship, prayer, friendship and fun as we open God's Word and trust that He will transform us by His Spirit. We welcome women of all ages as we gather to grow in our love for each other and our heavenly Father.
Will you set aside one day this year to devote to your spiritual health?
The familiar words of the Lord's Prayer are the words of Jesus used to revolutionise the prayer lives of His closest friends. Listen as He teaches us to pray to our heavenly Father.
